I’m a freelance journalist and editor, specialising in features and opinion writing on politics, technology, digital culture, fitness, gender and race. I have a focus on amplifying under-reported stories and marginalised voices. Formerly, I was the Politics Editor for gal-dem; I’m currently a Contributing Editor at Novara Media.
I’ve worked across print, digital, audio and video for some of the world’s biggest media outlets and most exciting start-ups, including the New York Times, BBC, The Guardian, Audio Always, Broccoli Content, VICE and WePresent.
I have created content and hosted workshops or events for the likes of the New Writing North, Institute of Coding, the Arts Council, Bustle, Secretly Canadian and Stylist.
I also make regular appearances in the media, including slots on Sky News, BBC Politics Live and Channel 4.
On the side, I run an ad hoc travel blog and make far too many playlists.
